About Us

Husband and wife team Eric and Kathie Adams created Kentucky based Brit & Blue as a way of interweaving two very different inspirations.

The first is their love of fine tailoring, particularly that done in Britain. The second is an upbringing in America’s heartland where a relentless work ethic in the coal mines and farm fields has for generations been the path to a respectable way of life. The result of this melding of sensibilities is the Brit & Blue Signature Jacket, a garment that is widely considered to be the finest duck cloth jacket in the world. Every Brit & Blue is designed by Eric and Kathie in Kentucky and then crafted in Upstate New York at the oldest tailoring house in the United States.
